Thermo King has supplied 950 of its latest clip-on SG-5000 generator sets to Hapag-Lloyd, aiming to ensure complete temperature control and protection of refrigerated cargo.

The new fleet of generator sets will serve in the carrier’s intermodal operations throughout North America.

The units’ engine is compliant California Air Resource Board (CARB), for the lifetime of the product, protecting the customers’ investment and removing the need for retrofit or replacement.
